Hindusthan International School Student Council exists to promote a positive school experience. It’s for students by students. Organizing events throughout the year and acting as liaison between classes and the councils are a great opportunity for students to practice life skills like leadership and collaboration.
The Hindusthan International School Student Council is a committee of students elected by peers. The council has been established to enable the student representatives to put forth their ideas and participate in the planning of school events. They work with the school administration, and student body with regards to projects and initiatives for the school, students and local community. The Student Council mentors younger students, formulates inter-house activities and co-operates with school on development of school rules and regulations. Student Council members bring ideas, requests and feedback to the meetings for discussion. The student Council members are elected by the student community from grades II.

English is the first language and a medium of instruction. Other languages offered are, Tamil, Hindi & French. The students can choose their second & third languages from grades 1 to 5 & only second language from grades 6 to 7.
Model United Nation is a simulation of the UN General Assembly and its other multilateral bodies where students perform an ambassador role while debating topics such as gender equality, climate action, global health and more. Through MUN, students will gain a better understanding of the inner workings of the United Nations and build skills in diplomacy, compromise and decision making, so they will have the opportunity to make changes and solve problems. Model UN activates students’ imagination and creativity – activities that students are naturally inclined to do. Students enjoy exploring new places, sharing common experiences with teammates and friends, and making new friends with smart and interesting students from other schools – which includes the best and the brightest from other countries. Students attend Model UN conferences because it’s fun – they just happen to learn something along the way. And when students have fun while learning, what they learn is more likely to stick.
We have well-maintained football turf. High class international coaching centers for indoor games. It assists each child in blooming into a physically, mentally and emotionally sound individual.
